Contains four stories which all focus on the theme "Identity Crisis" as The Tick decides that like all real super-heroes, he should get a secret identity and, to go along with it, a "mild-mannered job" as a cover. Arthur isn't so sure but he goes along with The Tick to keep peace! In "Story 1," The Tick takes a job as a used car salesman. In "Story 2," Arthur finds employment in a daycare for super-hero kids! In "Story 3," The Tick begins work as a lab assistant for Professor Chromedome! He'd like to do battle with the evil Professor, but Chromedome has tenure. Guest appearance by that other-dimensional monster, Thrakkorzog! And in "Story 4," The Tick and Arthur return home after their grueling day of labor.
