"The Wages of Conquest" Guest-starring Silver Sable. Ever since Doctor Doom disappeared during the final battle vs. Onslaught, a rebel group inside Latveria has been trying to seize control of the government! To investigate the insurgency, the Daily Bugle sends its junior reporter, Betty Brant, to the Balkan country! Unfortunately though, Betty gets too close to the action and becomes a prisoner of the uprising's leader...the Dreadknight! The Bugle staff (including Peter Parker) is horrified by Betty's predicament! How can the web-slinger get to Central Europe? Maybe he could hitch a ride with Silver Sable! After a meeting of the minds; the Wild Pack, Silver Sable, and the Sensational Spider-Man fly to Latveria! And once there the wondrous wall-crawler lays it all on the line to save his dear friend from the deadly clutches of the Dreadknight!
