By Arnoux Anthony Louis-Jeune (Author, Editor), Arnoux Anthony Louis_Jeune (Illustrator), April Freeman Locke (Editor) After the mad King of Haiti and his acolytes were assassinated during their national tour, a dark and yet promising era started to flourish in Haiti. A group of magicians and mercenaries known as the Clan of the 7 Apples, began to kill all the members of the Senate and several civilians who were suspected of being affiliated with them. Shortly after committing this massacre, they disappeared. A powerful and wealthy diaspora coalition, along with many politicians, signed an agreement that would force them to develop Haiti. Now, a new family was in power by national decree and they were determined to improve the country. The borders were closed for many years to restore balance within the political system. Haiti became self-sustainable due to the use of magic and technology provided by the Dogon people. Life was good. However, one day a spacecraft from an ancient Lizard race known as Genus Apophis landed on the island and everything changed. They blended into the population and began to build their empire. The country started to plunge back into a dark era of terror. Only the strongest and the ones with the knowledge of the Fâ energy were surviving. Meanwhile, our heroine, Rachelle, wakes up after sleeping inside a giant cocoon for eleven years into a very different world. Magic practices were now legalised by the United Nations and they expanded very fast around the world, mostly because humankind was trying to stop the Genus Apophis from procreating. With the help of her friends, Rachelle travels to Dogo, a planet that orbits another star in the Sirius system. She is there to speak with the Council of the 7 Sages and to learn to control her superpowers. Simultaneously, Florence Flo, Rachelle’s aunt, goes to Spain and Austria to borow two unique Taino artifacts that when combine will be able to fight against a Giant Komodo Dragon that the Genus Apophis has awakened.
