Grifter (Cole Cash) being abducted by a paramilitary group led by a man named Odyssey. Grifter's former IO trainer, "Snipe" Diehl, recommends him to the local sheriff to help rescue abducted children. Grifter successfully infiltrates Odyssey's mountain compound, where he discovers Odyssey is former U.S. Army Lt. Col. Bo Thane, forcing the children to act as soldiers. Grifter scares the child soldiers, letting Thane escape to avoid killing him in front of them, and Cash is left pondering his reasons for helping.
